The Next Chapter

Soon after retirement in 2020, I began writing a bi-monthly opinion column for the Meriden Record-Journal and took on a consultant role with the Wallingford Historic Preservations Trust. In 2022, in honor of Wallingford’s 350th Jubilee, the Trust, in collaboration with the Witness Stones Project, whose mission is to restore the history and honor the humanity of the enslaved individuals who helped build our communities, dedicated its first Witness Stone to Black Revolutionary War solider Dick Freedom.
