For as long as I can remember, I have been a writer – a student of others’ writing as well as a practitioner of the writing craft. For 32 years, I worked at independent schools as an editor/writer for school publications. For 17 of those years, I was the editor of Choate Rosemary Hall’s award-winning alumni magazine. When I retired in 2020, I began writing a bimonthly opinion column for a local newspaper, the Meriden Record-Journal. I’ve gathered a few of my writings here. I am also a Justice of the Peace and am currently serving a four-year term on our town’s elementary school Board of Education.
